OBITUARIES

Sheila A. Carlson, age 56, of Wisconsin Rapids & formerly of Stevens Point, died Sunday, July 1, 2012 while under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care Hospice.

Sheila was born March 11, 1956 to the late John & Betty (Kluck) Carlson in Hayward, WI. She grew up in Stevens Point and attended the local schools.

Sheila enjoyed working for Opportunity Development Center (ODC) as an assembler. She treasured her time there and looked forward to each day on the job.

She will be remembered for her outgoing & friendly nature, and contagious smile. Sheila loved keeping active and enjoyed the company of her friends and coworkers. Besides socializing, Sheila enjoyed traveling, crafts & fair activities, dances, contributing to 4-H activities, and watching retro TV shows. She also enjoyed nature and the company of her cats.

She is survived by extended family- Terra (Darrin) Schneider of Wisconsin Rapids & their family, Scott, Aaron, Matthew, & Trinity; Lisa & John Vann of Almond, & their children, Ethan, Brady, Raiden, & Maria; Lyla Haugland of Superior; and Lonny Mueller & Corinna Mueller of Neillsville, & their children, Danielle, Tristynn, & Andrew.

A Funeral Service, celebrating her life, will be held 7:00 pm, Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Boston Funeral Home, Stevens Point with Rev. David Guerrero officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm and on Saturday, from 6:00 pm until time of service at the Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Forest Cemetery, Stevens Point.
