OBITUARIES

Arvilla L. Fabich, age 87, of 1920 Wisconsin Ave., Plover, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family June 19, 2012.

Arvilla was born February 18, 1925 in Marshfield, to the late William and Marie (Engman) Pearl. She grew up and attended schools in Marshfield. She moved to Stevens Point at age 19 and worked for Worzella Publishing.
Arvilla married William Fabich May 18, 1946 in Stevens Point. She became a home maker and mother at that time. In 1965 she began working for the Portage County Health Care Center, retiring in 1990. She was an avid animal lover, enjoyed cooking and canning, and deeply loved her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include children, Charlotte (Alan) Granier of New Orleans, LA, Gary Fabich of Kraemer, LA, Linda Myhre, William (Diane) Fabich Jr , Robert Fabich and Michael Fabich, all of Plover.
She is further survived by nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William, who died in 1990, and by a brother and three sisters.
A Celebration of her life will be held 11:00 a.m. at Boston Funeral Home on Friday, June 22, 2012, with Rev. Roger Moldenhauer officiating. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will follow at Des Pines Cemetery.
